Who we are
Novo Derma develops professional post-procedure skincare for med spas, medical spas and aesthetic practices. The brand exists to solve a specific problem: procedures that deliver the most transformative results are also the ones that create the most social downtime, and downtime is what keeps patients from booking, completing and repeating treatment.
Our approach is deliberately narrow. Rather than a broad retail range, we develop focused formulations for defined clinical moments, and we distribute them through representatives who work directly with practices on use instructions, patient materials and ordering.
The initial product
Post-Procedure Cream is the first Novo Derma release: a single, focused formulation supplied to practices in a 1.0 oz frosted glass jar and sold in cases of six. It is used following aesthetic procedures that create downtime — CO2 and fractional laser resurfacing, microneedling, RF microneedling, microdermabrasion and chemical peels — as a cosmetic step inside a provider-directed aftercare protocol.
Additional formulations built on the same growth-factor platform will follow.
The technology
NovoSerum is a patented, cell-free concentrate of naturally occurring human growth factors derived from purified umbilical cord serum, sourced through a U.S.-based, FDA-regulated cord blood bank from volunteer donors after a healthy birth. It contains no stem cells and no living cells.
Growth factors are signaling proteins that communicate with fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and extracellular matrix during the skin’s normal repair process.
NovoSerum is protected under U.S. Patent No. 8,790,710 B and is the platform behind every Novo Derma formulation.
